8 Unhealthy Hotel Breakfast: Unhealthy Complementary Foods

Discover Common Unhealthy Hotel Breakfast Foods and Healthier Alternatives.

Every years we used to travel many hotels and restaurants and we are respectfully offered by various complementary foods. Especiallly if we checked in the hotels, there is mostly the free breakfast or breakfast includen hotel fair.

Last year i met a person in a reputed hotel who denied those complementary breakfast. I was wonder, why did he do that?. Then i asked that nice and good looking man to the reason behind it. And his answer surprised me more. As per his claims, there is always a very less chances to get a free, healthy, and good complementary breakfast. Instead of that, most of the breakfast wouldn’t be healthier as we think. Here are some of the breakfasts which, we should avoid as much as possible.

Sugary Cereals

Regularly, these cereals are full of  sugar and nutritionally deficient, consequently they experience a quick spike in blood sugar followed by a crash. So, this breakfast couldn’t be a healthier choice for our health.

Pastries and Doughnuts

Although these taste very good they are usually full of bad fats which contain a lot of calories leading to heavy gain and bad feeding habits. So i would like to suggest you to try to avoid these types of breakfast even at your home or office.

Pancakes and Waffles

Maple syrup and butter are mixed with bread and fruit, and thus introduce calories in the diet that may have lesser nutrition than the original elements used in making them. A healthy man prefered some light fruit snacks, fruit salads and veggies rather than these pancakes.

Fried Foods

Usually unhealthy oils are used to fry items such as bacon, sausage, and hash browns which add fat to your meal that is not needed. It could be more better, if we skip to consume those types of junk foods or fried foods.

Sweetened Yogurts

You’d be surprised to know that in addition to the yogurt itself, the added sugars in yogurt’s pre-flavored types are also very high leading to a loss of its health benefits. As per the nutritionist and doctors, yogurt are the best but only thing to watch is the added sugar.

White Bread Toast

When we compared to whole grain options, white bread is devoid of fiber and essential nutrients, as it is made from refined flour. So white bread are not much healthier.

Instant Oatmeal

Some packets of instant oatmeal are high in sugar and artificial flavors, thus being less healthy than the traditional rolled or steel-cut oats.

Fruit Juices

A lot of fruit juices are sold as healthy products which is not true because most contain more sugar than is necessary for the body and also lack the fiber content present in natural fruits.

So, those types of foods, which we should avoid to use regularly or always. However it is depend on our daily habits of exercises and other meals. If you regularly do exercises, those kind of foods, which i mentioned above are also okay to use. So guys, be careful while you check in th hotels, and try to eat healthy foods.
