Spaghetti alla Carbonara is well-known in Italy for being a traditional pasta dish from that country. It is prepared using spaghetti that is just right, pancetta or guanciale that has been fried up until very crisp, a sauce that contains eggs, lots of Pecorino Romano cheese, a little parmesan cheese and a hint of crushed garlic. All these ingredients combine to make a meal which is both simple and luxurious.
The spicy black pepper adds piquancy that enriches the overall taste. Further, starch that is contained in pasta water but set aside ensures that the sauce remains lump free and very tasty. The blending feature of the meal is its simplicity in terms of making it. However, it sparkles with rich flavor such that it can be prepared either as a daily supper or on festive seasons.
