Everywhere it seems that vegetarian dishes are becoming a colored design whose flavors and textures are fastly changing in a pulsating manner around the world due to its health benefits. A journey through some of the most famous vegetarian recipes in different societies from the spicy curries of India and the cool Mediterranean mezze.

India is endowed with a rich culinary heritage that boasts a plethora of vegetarian dishes which are not only delicious but also come in many different flavours like the creamy paneer tikka masala, piquant chana masala and exquisite dal makhani made from lentils.

India boasts aromatic curries as well as other hearty fare which is mainly based around vegetables and legumes combined with pungent herbs. These are some popular Indian dishes
