- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Cook the Macaroni first:
Boil a large pot of water with some salt. Pour in 8 ounces elbow macaroni and cook it until it gets tender. It should take around 8 minutes. After that drain the water and leave it aside

Prepare the Cheese Sauce:
Melt 1/4 cup butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir 2 1/2 tablespoons flour into melted butter to form smooth paste.
Gradually add 3 cups milk, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and becomes smooth. Mix in 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until cheese is uniformly mixed and sauce is smooth -
Combine Macaroni and Cheese Sauce:

Prepare the Topping:
- Melt in a small skillet the one once two tablespoons of butter on medium heat. Add in half a cup of the bread crumbs stir and cook until lightly brown
- Add some paprika over the bread crumbs which makes it more flavorfull.

Bake the Mac and Cheese:
Before you preheat your oven until it reaches 175° C (350° F). Then transfer this mixture of macaroni and cheese into lightly oiled 2-quart baking dish. And now add some bread crumb mixture so that it covers all the topmost parts evenly after which you can start baking for around 20 minutes until you see a golden brown color then you can remove from heat.
