- 2 tsp (10 ml) salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) black pepper
- 1 cup (240 ml) barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) beef broth
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
- 1 tsp (5 ml) liquid smoke (optional)
Easily make Barbecue Ribs at home:
- Put the brown sugar, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and black pepper in a small bowl and then mix it well. This will need to rub for the ribs.
- Thoroughly coat the both sides of the ribs with the dry rub, and then place the meaty side down in the slow cooker.
- Now mix 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce, beef broth, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, honey, and liquid smoke (if using) in another bowl. And then drizzle the ribs with these combined liquids.
- Now cook this ribs on low for 8 hours they will be more tender and almost completely cooked. The ribs would be so soft and tender that they would almost come apart from bones after cooked.
- Let’s preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a grill to the medium high flame.
- Remove the ribs from the slow cooker, and put them on a baking sheet or grill. However, with the ribs, brush the remaining 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce.
- To get oven-cooked ribs, put them in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the sauce gets thick and caramalized. And to get those cooked by a grill, put them on the barbecue for 5-7 minutes per side until the sauce becomes thick as well as caramelized.
