Travel Guide For Japan : Travel Tips and Info for Your Journey

Japan is an amazing combination of old and new, modern and traditional. Japan is super easy to get around in, and the food is amazing. Sometimes, it might seem strange for new people, like you might see people without clothes on, but everyone is really nice and respectful.

I would also recommend going to Kyoto, an old capital and also the cultural center of Japan. You can find lots of old temples and shrines. Current capital, Tokyo is voted the world’s best city.

It is well-known that the Japan has the one of the finest Train service in the world. Entire country is connected by a complex rail network.

Flights Services

The main flights are in Tokyo and Osaka, as a Tourist. These two flights have lots of direct flights to and from other countries around the world. Kyoto, an old capital does not have an airport but you can easily reach there from Osaka. You can book flights from SkyScanner.

Budget

It may not be believable to you as Japan is one of the Best Country in the world, it is less pricey than you might expect. You can find hotels from 2000 Yen, around US $12.75, and private hotels from 4500 Yen, around US $28.68, although a private rooms are small and the bathroom are shared. Meals are about 750 to 1500 Yen depending on location.

Safety

Japan has very low violent crime rate of 0.28 per 100k inhabitants, more than 95% than the global average. For that, Japan is one of the safest countries in the world.

Japanese people are known for being polite and friendly to outsiders, but the language barrier can be difficult sometimes because English is not as widespread there. Make sure to learn important Japanese words.

Personal Experience

I would recommend you to fly in and out of Haneda if you can, it is very much closer to downtown Tokyo, and even a short taxi ride to some areas. We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel, located in Gotanda, Tokyo, few years ago.
